Those annoying colored posts on Watch Baddies Vol. 4 OnlineFacebook aren't going anywhere. In fact, they're getting an upgrade.
Facebook has been quietly adding patterns, textures, illustration, and more to the status cards. Users around the world have been noticing a number of new background options in different colors.

Credit: Mashable It won't be long until Facebook starts pushing more people to use the new patterns, so don't be surprised if you start seeing them on a News Feed near you. The images that seem fit for a scrapbook are cute, but too many clogging your Feed could quickly get tiresome.
We reached out to Facebook about the new backgrounds, but did not hear back before publishing.
