Xiaomi's November 5 event005 Archivesshaping up to be a pretty big one.
On Monday we wrote about the company's upcoming 108-megapixel phone, but now the company has shared many more details (via XDA Developers) about the smartwatch that's about to be unveiled at the event.
The Mi Watch, as it'll probably be called, has roughly the same shape as Apple's watch, and a very similar digital crown on the side.
Another perspective (above) shows that the Mi Watch will be a bit less rounded and somewhat thicker than Apple's latest Watch 5 (you can also see that it'll be capable of handling calls).
Xiaomi went as far to include a picture of the Mi Watch's innards, which show that it will be equipped with Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC chips, as well as an eSIM.
Xiaomi already sells several smart wearables, including the Mi Band 4, but it looks like the Mi Watch will be the company's first real, feature-complete smartwatch.
XDA Developers also has quite a bit of new info about the penta-camera phone that'll be launched on Nov. 5, which will probably be called Mi CC9 Pro in China and Mi Note 10 in other markets. It will be a big device, with a 6.47-inch OLED display and a 5,170mAh battery. It will have an unspecified octa-core CPU (likely the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G) and come with 64/128/256GB of storage, 6/8/12GB of RAM. It'll have a headphone jack and a fast-charging USB-C port. Finally, besides the 108-megapixel camera array on the back, it'll have a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
