There's little evidence to support going on Lena Paul - The Next Morninga gluten-free diet without a medical reason to do so, but you already knew that.
It's the current thing to eat gluten-free, perhaps thanks to a bunch of celebrities claiming that such a diet will give you more energy or incredible superpowers, but one lonely café is calling the gluten-free fanatic's bluff.
SEE ALSO: The one photo that will make you want to avoid Burning ManThe White Moose Café in Dublin, Ireland ran out of patience with a customer who requested gluten-free pancakes without being a coeliac -- nor did she know what the condition meant. Now any customer asking for gluten-free food in the café will need a doctor's note.
"She didn't even know what the word meant and then proceeded to order regular, gluten-rich pancakes anyway," according to the café's Facebook post.
"From now on, guests who demand gluten-free food are required to produce a doctor's note which states that you suffer from coeliac disease. Guests following a gluten-free fad, who don't even know what gluten is, can cop the fuck on and eat regular food like everybody else."
As a side note, this café seems to take a proudly counterintuitive approach to getting people in the door. Previously, it has picked a fight with vegans and practically everyone else.
Although the post attracted plenty of likes, it also got quite a few angry comments from people who only copped an utterly brutal roasting from the café in return.
And they're funny. Quite disrespectful, but funny.
Clearly the café doesn't give a toss about what anyone thinks, which is why it offered this piece of advice to anyone whose feelings it had "hurt" following its initial post.
"We are giving away free bandages for anyone whose feelings have been hurt over the past day or two. The bandages come in different sizes depending on how much of a fucking idiot you are," the post reads.
Paul Stenson from the White Moose Café told Mashablevia Messenger that he recognises that a lot of people aren't happy with the Facebook posts.
"A lot of them are very pissed off," he said. "But wouldn't you be if you were called out on being a superficial, fad-following imbecile?"
It's fair to say Stenson won't be pulling any punches when it comes to the café's posts in future. "The day I change how I run my Facebook page is the day I die," he said.
So, yeah, the moral of the story is don't order gluten-free food from The White Moose Café. Unless you want a bad time.
