Ellen DeGeneres knows her Twitter record is The Farmer’s Bride Requires Care! Part 2: The Organic Grand Strategy (2021)in danger, and has proactively taken steps to keep it in her name.
As you'll recall, the comedian's 2014 Oscars Selfie tweet holds the current record for most retweets of all time, with almost 3,286,771 and counting. Now another tweet threatens to dethrone DeGeneres.

Unwilling to cede her title to a hungry teenager, DeGeneres proposed a compromise during her Thursday show.
"I challenge everyone who retweets Carter's tweet to also retweet my Oscars selfie," she said. "That way I retain my title, and he can reach his goal."
She also offered Carter a flatscreen TV and a year's worth of free Ellen-branded underwear, should he reach his goal of 18 million.
Though DeGeneres makes a tempting offer, Wilkerson seems to have other plans:
