You've probably known a student who skipped class more than a few times.
So for the crew that thinks they can Babygirl (2024)waltz into a univeristy exam and scrape together a decent mark without having paid any attention, thisexam posted to r/funny on reddit by user dovahkid may come as a bit of a shock.

The question consists of four headshots of different Asian men with similar short hair and glasses, standing in front of the same background of books. Students had to pick which one was their teacher's aide.
"It is about half time of the whole quarter. So I guess everyone should know me in some sense. Let's do a simple quiz. Which of the following pictures is ME :)" read the question.
Fortunately, the question was only worth one point, but can't you just imagine sweaty palms and chewed pencils?
As the author of this article can attest, being mistaken for another Asian dude is pretty common. But it's okay guys, you're probably not consciously racist. It's more likely that you're at the behest of the "cross-race effect," -- where our brains can find it difficult to distinguish between people of other backgrounds.
What's the solution to beating the "effect?" It's as simple as having familiarity with other races. The closer contact we have with people who aren't like us, the better we can distinguish faces, apparently.
It's that easy! Get out there and meet some people, or for these students -- maybe just try actually turning up to class.
