We all know that Lil Nas X plans999 Archivestaking his horse to the "Old Town Road," but food expert, television host, and restaurateur Guy Fieri wants him to consider another destination: Flavortown Road.
The catchy trap country song "Old Town Road" already has a remix featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, but Fieri wants to throw his (cowboy) hat in the ring and collaborate with Lil Nas X on a remix that pays tribute to his favorite word, "Flavortown."
For those who haven't seen every episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives at least twice, Fieri often uses "Flavortown" to describe delicious food. The fact that it already includes "town" makes it perfect remix material. Everyone's favorite foodie with blonde tips tweeted at the rapper on Thursday to request the collaboration. He even included an image of himself with three horses to really sell the idea.

It seems Lil Nas X is a longtime fan of the Mayor of Flavortown, and he seems pretty into the idea. The rapper responded to Fieri by tweeting, "it's never too late for u legend." Then, things got really interesting.

"Maybe we should drop Panini before we take a trip to Flavortown," Fieri tweeted, alongside some rustic parody album artwork for Lil Nas X's song, "Panini," feat. a literal panini. Well played.

Fans of Fieri were extremely supportive of the potential musical crossover, and even offered up a bunch of sample lyrics to use in "Flavor Town Road," such as "I’m gonna take my fork to the flavor town road, I’m gonna eat till I can’t no more," and "Got the donkey sauce in the back."
Via GiphySome even made references to Fieri's game show, Guy's Grocery Games,by suggesting lyrics like, "I got the judges in the back, all the grocery aisles are stacked." Gorgeous!
While we eagerly await additional updates on this masterful collaboration, let's all imagine how blessed a music video would be.
