This year's Academy Awards may have indian anal sex videosbeen a little more shocking than most, but it apparently still provided plenty of things for people to loathe.
Hater, the dating app that brings people together based on what they both dislike, asked their users to weigh in on this year’s Oscars, and they found plenty of common ground. People were offered the award show-specific topics in the week leading up to the ceremony, and -- as with all topics -- they swiped on them to indicate love, hate, like and dislike.

So maybe don't drop your deep showbiz insights on your next date.
Continuing down the most hated list, Oscar predictions were followed closely by Mel Gibson and “Red carpet coverage at award shows.” As for specific movies, the most hated was the winner loser La La Land. After that came Fencesand Manchester by the Sea.
Some topics were especially polarizing. “The Oscars” as a topic itself drew opinions that were most evenly split between positive and negative. Controversial Best Actor winner Casey Affleck was next on the list. Hidden Figures, Dev Patel (what kind of monster doesn’t love a guy who brings his mom to the Oscars?), and La La Landwere also in the top five.
Swinging to the love side of the spectrum, Arrivalwas the most popular movie. Hidden Figureswas second, and the actual Best Picture, Moonlight, came in third. Strangely, Arrivalwas also the most loved Oscars topic more generally. It beat out the universally worshiped icons Ryan Gosling and Meryl Streep, who rounded out the top three.

But there’s still a big takeaway: there's plenty about the Oscars to hate. Perhaps that explains why this year’s show, despite an insane mix-up, pulled very poor ratings.
Hater, for their part, saw an uptick in users during the ceremony, proving that looking for love is more fun than watching a bunch of people in fancy clothes pat themselves on the back.
