SEE ALSO: The original 'StarCraft' is now freeSouth Korean presidential candidate Moon Jae-in came up with an ingenious plan to court younger voters: StarCraftmaps. In possibly related news, Moon Jae-in is also considered the election's current frontrunner.
In case you're missing the important context here: South Korea is home to some of the most talented StarCraftplayers on the planet. The game's esports pros are publicly known celebrities. If you're going to chase the youth vote in South Korea, StarCraftmaps are a smart way to go.
Moon's campaign released two versions of a map called "Moonters," which you can find right here (h/t Kotaku). It's actually an existing map, with one notable difference: a massive deposit of minerals in the center of the map that spells out, in Korean, "1 Moon Jae-sin."
The variant map ditches the centrally located mineral deposit in favor of a formation that spells out "1" in the top-right corner of the map. You can see a bird's-eye-view of both maps in the image up top.
Moon's site also features this time-lapse YouTube clip from the map. Though after much discussion here at the Mashableoffice, we're still not sure what it's meant to highlight.
