SEE ALSO: Why get a puppy when you can have a snuggly lizard instead?The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust’s Caerlaverock Wetland Centre in Scotland has joined the two in an installment of Lego animal statues. Each animal in the series is protected by the WWT.
The statues have been placed along a trail that winds through the centre for children and adults to enjoy and to remind visitors about the importance of nature conservation.
170,300 Lego bricks were used to build the statues which took a combined 1,209 hours to make all 11 characters.
“We’re delighted to welcome the new species that have arrived at Caerlaverock Wetland Centre today," said Centre Manager Brian Morrell. "We know our visitors old and new are going to absolutely love them."
