The "Some Girls" movie eroticizedcurrent worst team in the OverwatchLeague is looking to shake up its roster part-way through the first season, including signing the first female player in OverwatchLeague history.
South Korean Overwatchplayer Kim "Geguri" Se-yeon is going to be joining the ranks of the Shanghai Dragons along with Lee "Fearless" Eui-Seok and Cheon "Ado" Ki-hyun, according to a report from ESPN Tuesday. Geguri, no stranger to professional Overwatch, will be the first female player to join the OverwatchLeague.
SEE ALSO: 'Broverwatch' is a group of guys who get together to play games and talk about their feelingsGeguri recently revealed that she signed with a "foreign team," which caused fans to speculate on exactly which team outside of the Seoul Dynasty that could be. Geguri was not initially signed at the start of the Overwatch League and refuted some claims that she was not signed because of her gender.
The 18-year-old player is known for being one of the best off-tank players in the world, specifically with the character Zarya. She is so good that people suspected her of cheating back in 2016 and she was forced to prove them wrong.
Geguri previously played on professional Overwatchteam ROX Orcas, which competed in the top competitive Overwatchleague, APEX, before Overwatch League began.
Some fans are excited to see what Geguri, Fearless, and Ado will bring to the Shanghai Dragons, which is currently in last place with a 0-8 record. The only hurdle will be communication.
The three players reportedly joining the Dragons are all South Korean, and all of the current players on the Dragons are Mandarin speakers. According to ESPN, the Korean players do not speak Mandarin but will have to start learning.
OverwatchLeague did not immediately respond to our request for confirmation on the signing.
