David Johnson of North Dakota, the world's cockiest golf fan, did just that on the eighth green of the 2016 Ryder Cup.
SEE ALSO: 'Happy Gilmore' hits the golf course as an 8-bit movieJohnson continuously heckled European pros Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson about a 12-foot putt they kept missing in practice. A playfully frustrated Stenson then challenged Johnson to sink the putt himself, pulling him onto the green.
Clad in some very questionable shoes and baggy dad jeans, Johnson put the pros to shame and actually did sink the putt, to a roar of applause from the crowd.
