Beyoncé fans everywhere dream of,Silip at long last, approaching their queen and saying hello. Well, Lupita Nyong'o did you one better: Queen Bey approached her.
The Queen of Katwestar recalled this experience of all experiences on Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Following the 2014 Met Ball, she said, she spotted Bey at an afterparty. "My friends were like, 'Oh, there comes Beyoncé,'" she explained. "And then I turned, and she's coming towards me."
Beyoncé fans (if you're still alive after reading that): can you even imagine?
From there, things got even dreamier for Nyong'o, who told Kimmel that Beyoncé — and her sister Solange — were "geeking out" over her.
This is the peak, y'all: three talented, powerful women geeking out over each other.
Nyong'o's fairy tale was briefly derailed when her drunk friend took a blurry photo of her and Beyoncé. Fortunately, Bey, queen of photos and everything else, managed to snap a better version.
