"Rave in the Redwoods, eroticism in contemporary islamic advice literature" the new Call of Duty: Infinite WarfareZombies map, is pretty damn cool.
I got a tour of the map on Feb. 7 from none other than Lee Ross, associate project director on Infinite Warfare's Zombies maps. For 20 rounds, we smashed the undead and talked at length about Call of Duty, broadcasting every moment of it on Facebook Live.

The new addition -- which arrived as part of the "Sabotage" DLC -- sends up to four players off to help Kevin Smith (no, really) and TRIP THEIR FACES OFF in the woods of northern California. It would be a fun party, if not for all the zombies.
Rave picks up where the previous map, "Zombies in Spaceland," left off. Our four hapless heroes are held captive by Willard Wyler (voiced by Paul Reubens), a filmmaker who uses dark magic to rope them into his gorefests.
Spaceland was a neon-drenched romp through an '80s-era theme park. Rave leaps forward into a '90s setting (hence the whole techno music party thing). It's a larger map with tighter corridors and a trippy hallucination mode -- the only way you can actually see the map's chainsaw-wielding boss.
While Ross remained tight-lipped on the map's still-undiscovered secrets -- yes, there are some -- he had plenty to say about both this map and what's ahead. If you're wondering what the deal is with the Zombies level cap or how they're looking at future maps and time periods -- basically, if you dig Call of DutyZombies -- you'll want to check this out.
