Trust Samantha Bee for concise,Dead Again cutting debate coverage.
Full Frontal with Samantha Bee aired on Wednesday instead of Monday in order to dig into the first Presidential debate with Bee's signature analysis, a voice rooted in the intersection of outrage and outrageous humor.
SEE ALSO: Samantha Bee expertly takes down NBC for treating Trump like a 'fun guy'In her debate analysis, Bee is unimpressed with moderator Lester Holt for minimal fact-checking on Trump's questionable comments, then zeroes in on the candidate for his consistently awful comments about women. Bee points to Monday's debate clip where Clinton calls on Trump's descriptions of Alicia Machado as "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping."
Trump spoke about Machado recently on Fox and Friends, saying that she "gained a massive amount of weight" which "was a real problem" for the Miss Universe pageant.
"Nowyou have a real problem," said Bee, cutting to a photo of her writing staff all raising their middle fingers. "Not only with her, but with any woman who's ever been called fat -- which is all of us."
In the previous segment, Bee laid into political commentators' pre-debate advice for Clinton:
"Be perfect but not too perfect, save us from fascism but like don't be a bitch about it," Bee says, summarizing the volume and nuance of expert advice for Clinton.
She added: "No one was suggesting superficial changes for Trump like 'Try wearing a suit that actually fits' or 'Embrace your baldness proudly' or 'Don't snort your way through the debate like Jean Pierre's prize truffle pig.'"
