"Fifteen minutes later, I kid you not, 15 minutes later I was trying to purchase tickets and they are sold out. Sold out! It told me that there was an error and I tried again—still the same error. Every time I tried, [there were] fewer seats!"

"I was unable to buy tickets for Black Panther opening night!" Nyong'o exclaimed. "That's insane!"

Some people admitted they bought multiple tickets, others commiserated with the actress, and some even invited her as their date to the opening night of the film.

Black Panther will hit theaters on Feb. 16, which gives Nyong'o plenty of time to craft a plan to sneak into a theater à la her Comic Con appearance last summer.
