"We're in the endgame now."

With those five words in Avengers: Infinity War,Love Nonetheless Dr. Strange telegraphed both the Avengers' final showdown with the mad titan Thanos and the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it.

While the MCU will survive past the events Avengers: Endgame, it's highly likely that not all of the beloved heroes introduced in the first four phases of the shared Marvel universe will be as lucky. With half of the universe currently dusted, Endgame has a lot to get through — will the dusted characters be brought back? And if so, who else is doomed to lose in the final fight?
