SEE ALSO: The 10 best books of the year, according to BookTokAs Mashable's Alex Perry noted in his review, the Kindle Scribe is not a perfect device. However, it does manage to bridge the gap between traditional reading and e-reading by offering a stylus to mark up books to your heart's content. "Regardless of which pen you choose, using it is pretty straightforward. When reading a book, tap or drag to highlight a text passage, then tap “Note,” to leave a hand-written sticky note you can open or close at any time by tapping whatever you had highlighted." Easy peasy.
The Scribe also offers a notebook feature, which is essentially just a digital space where you can journal, sketch, take notes, and more. Artists looking to doodle digital masterpieces will probably want to look the other way. This device is designed for note-taking readers.
