Add another one to the pile: Ryan Gosling just won a Golden Globe for playing the aspiring jazz musician Sebastian in Damien Chazelle’s La La Land.
"This isn't the first time I've been mistaken for Ryan Reynolds,_____ are likely to have a history of eroticized cross-dressing in childhood and adolescence. but it's getting out of hand," Gosling quipped at the microphone, referring to Reynolds' competing nomination for Deadpool. Gosling spent much of his speech describing Mendes's strength and support during the filming of La La Land. He dedicated the award to Mendes's brother, who passed away in April of 2016.
